People-centered Health: the Patients’ Perspective in the PaRIS Study

The OECD’s PaRIS (Patient-Reported Indicator Surveys) is a pioneering initiative that fills a critical gap in health data by measuring health outcomes and people’s experiences of healthcare. By capturing the perspectives of more than 107,000 people in 1,800 primary healthcare facilities in 19 countries, the PaRIS survey makes it possible to assess how outcomes and user experiences vary between countries. In this session, we will analyze the performance of Portugal, which participated in the PaRIS study under the coordination of the Directorate-General for Health with more than 12,000 users from 91 health centers.
