Sandra Tafulo is currently a supervisor at the HLA allosensitization laboratory at Porto Blood and Transplantation Center, Oporto, Portugal, and Coordinator of the Histocompatibility and Immunogenetic Group within the Portuguese Transplantation Society. Sandra completed an MSc degree in Molecular genetics in 2006, an MSc degree in Clinical Analysis in 2012, and her PhD degree in Biomedical Science from Oporto University in 2021. Sandra has been an active member of EFI, serving as an EFI Inspector since 2016, in EFI External Proficiency Testing from 2022-2023 and currently in the EFI Accreditation Committee, and ASHI is a member of the ASHI International Committee.
