João Machado

João Machado began his career working in the field of sustainability and CSR consultancy for the largest companies in Portugal. He then worked closely withdozens of start-ups, supporting them in defining a strategy, business plan and raising investment. Before joining the Ageas Foundation, he worked at Portugal Inovação Social, where he was responsible for implementing the FIS – Fundo para a Inovação Social (Social Innovation Fund). He is currently the president of the Ageas Foundation and his motto is “sharing is the soul of this business”.
