Ana is passionate for inspiring people for scientific education and works for a more effective and sustainable health care system. In addition to her position as Partner from PEV Healthcare Consulting and Way2Value, she serves as Research Associate at Avant-garde Health (Boston, USA), Professor in the Graduate Program in Epidemiology at UFRGS and at Insper Healthcare Management MBA Program in Brazil, and Senior Researcher at the National Institute for Health Technology Assessment (IATS). In all her affiliations, she dedicates her career to turning health care costs more transparent and implementing value-based healthcare principles in health care organizations and systems, having most of her consulting and research projects developed for Biotech and Biopharma companies. Ana has performed dozens of TDABC and health care management research and consulting projects in Brazil, Portugal, and USA. She is continually researching and working to engage more people on the cause to improve the efficiency of health care systems worldwide. Ana is Ph.D in industrial engineer at UFRGS, in collaboration with Stanford Medicine, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Epidemiology at UFRGS in collaboration with the Brigham Women’s Hospital. She also attended to the VBHC Seminary at Harvard Business School, and is certificated in Effective Writing for Health Care by the Harvard Medical School (Class 2023).  Ana has an impressive portfolio as an academic and researcher. She has penned more than 140 publications, all of which focus on the intricate fields of Health Economics, Value-based Care, and Value Creation.
